Groups are offered free of charge, but pre-registration is required. Groups will run for 10 weeks.

Fall 2009 Children's Grief Support Program
Langley Hospice is offering a Grief Support Program for children ages 5 – 11 years who have experienced the loss of someone significant in their life. During group, children are encouraged to explore feelings of grief through the use of story, crafts, play, writing and movement within a safe and nurturing environment. This 8-week program will begin the first week in October. There is no fee for the group but pre-registation is required. For more information, please call Jane or Wendy at 604-530-1115.

2009 Teen Grief Support Group
Langley Hospice Society is offering a Support/Discussion Group for Teens who have lost an important person in their lives to death. The Group begins onTuesday, Oct 27. There is no fee for attending this group but pre-registration is required. For more info please contact Jane at 604-530-1115.

2009 Adult Grief Support Group
Langley Hospice is offering an afternoon Adult Grief Support Group starting Wednesday, October 28, to provide support to those grieving the death of someone significant in their lives. These groups provide a safe and supportive environment where participants can explore ways to better understand the grief journey. Basic Hospice Training
This ten-week, 30-hour hospice training is designed to provide the basic skills and knowledge you need to give emotional support to dying and/or grieving people and their families. The training is offered twice yearly and classes fill up quickly. Contact Fernande to register.
